我就说了，年底各种摄影书单肯定会滚滚而来，时代周刊最近就扔出一个。其实，看这种书单的乐趣在于，在交叉比对中，你会发现今年那几本最热的书。

前两天接到一位朋友的来信，他说手工书工作坊结束之后，才真正理解什么是摄影书。这使得我也很想追溯，是从什么时候开始，我头脑里的那些“照片合集/摄影画册” 被一个逐渐清晰的“摄影书”概念所替代的呢？

其实真没有什么速成的方法，你必须亲手去摸那些书。有个爱书且懂书的朋友，拿到一本书，他从来不会稀里哗啦翻一气，总会一页页地从头翻到尾。这才是看书啊，看摄影书也一样，挑着看，你就会看不明白了。

时代的大书单，开篇就引用了摄影史研究者Ralph Prins的一句话对摄影书予以描述：

“摄影书是一种独立的形态，就好比一个雕塑作品，一出话剧，一部电影。在这里，照片失去了它们摄影的特征，成为整体的一部分。它被转译成墨水，（前后连贯）成为一个戏剧性的事件，这才可以称之是一本书。”

在我看来，每一本书都是一个“多媒体”作品，它是视觉、听觉（阅读文字就是眼睛读出来给耳朵听嘛）、嗅觉（请闻一闻墨水的味道）、触觉综合在一起的产物，是摄影师、作家、设计师、图片编辑、出版人以及印刷匠协同合作的结果。所以，照这个样子来看，世间哪有那么多的好摄影书呢？真正精彩的摄影书产量不会太多。

今天是OFPiX在北京奇遇花园咖啡的微型书展的最后一天。晚上我就抱着我的书回家喽。这个书展展出了十几家独立出版社的摄影书作品，有些书非常精彩，有的则也比较一般。我想着的是给大家呈现一个整体的面貌，各种形态都接触一下，你才能逐渐看清这个森林的面貌，并找到你自己喜欢的那棵树。（展览的时间地点等信息点这里）
